1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: email, username, WhatsApp number (when you choose to continue the conversation) and anonymous answers you receive. We use this information to provide the anonymous Q&A service and WhatsApp integration.
When using Google for login, we receive your email and profile name as authorized by you. We do not share this data with third parties for marketing purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to: operate and improve SecretReply; allow you to create question boxes and receive anonymous answers; enable sending replies via WhatsApp when requested; and comply with legal or regulatory obligations when necessary.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may use third-party services (hosting, authentication, payments) that process data on our behalf and under our terms.
3. Anonymity and Replies
SecretReply is designed to preserve the anonymity of those who send questions. We do not store information that would identify the sender of an anonymous question, except when the user chooses to leave their WhatsApp number to continue the conversation. In those cases, the number is used only for the stated purpose.
4. Cookies and Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences and analyze service usage in aggregate. You can manage cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect some app features.
5. Your Rights
Under LGPD and other applicable laws, you have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; portability; and revoke consent when applicable.
To exercise these rights or for privacy questions, contact us using the information on the support page or in your account settings.
6. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The date of the last change will be indicated at the top of this page. Significant changes may be communicated by email or a notice in the app.
